The winner of Grand First Prize for Overall Excellence in this year’s British Art Medal Society’s Student Medal Awards is ‘Song Bird in Her Cage’ by CSAD Artist Designer: Maker student Judith Pritchard.
The Student Medal Project encourages and promotes the art of making medals throughout art colleges in the United Kingdom. Each year over one hundred student medals, from as many as fifteen art colleges, are submitted for judging for prizes and selection for exhibition.
Judith’s work along with other entrants and winners can be seen at the ‘Art in the Hand’ exhibition at the Goldsmiths’ Centre in London until 20th April 2017.
