Join the Dots – Patterns:

  1. Use the dots template supplied as a starting point, or experiment by making your own.
(experiment with random or more geometric distribution of dots, spaced out or closer together to see the difference in outcomes- use the actual dots or slip the sheet of dots under the drawing paper and use as a guide)
  2. Create a pattern design by joining or avoiding or doodling the dots
Let your imagination run free and create any design you like.Try florals, stripes, geometrics, a landscape, a series of faces, or leaves.
Try using two colours, one colour, and multi-colours. Try using colours opposite one another on the colour wheel, and colours next to one another on the colour wheel. https://mymodernmet.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/basic-color-wheel.gif
  3. Turn your design into a repeat pattern. (see below)
    ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
  1. Defnyddiwch y templed dotiau a gyflenwir fel man cychwyn, neu arbrofwch trwy wneud un eich hun.
(arbrofwch gyda dosbarthiad dotiau ar hap neu fwy geometrig, wedi’u gosod allan neu’n agosach at ei gilydd i weld y gwahaniaeth mewn canlyniadau – defnyddiwch y dotiau go iawn neu slipiwch y ddalen o ddotiau o dan y papur lluniadu a’i defnyddio fel canllaw)
  2. Creuwch dyluniad patrwm trwy ymuno neu osgoi neu ddwdlo’r dotiau.
Gadewch i’ch dychymyg redeg yn rhydd a chreuwch unrhyw ddyluniad yr ydych yn ei hoffi. Blodau, streipiau, geometregau, tirwedd, cyfres o wynebau, neu ddail.
  3. Trowch eich dyluniad yn batrwm ailadroddus. (gweler isod)
