Re)Presenting Psychology

In this talk I will consider the ways in which a discursive psychology can help understand the complexity of representation practices within graphic novels, and will explore presentations of subjectivity, gender and sexuality; before finally, considering some of the new autobiographical work that explicitly focuses on mental health and well-being.
The purpose of the talk will be to open a space for discussion around the relationship between psychology and how we might find ways of joint working for research, enterprise and teaching.
