Artist Designer Maker graduate Annie Fenton is one of artists who has created work for this year’s Raveningham Sculpture Trail in Norfolk.
Annie explained ‘For a while, I have been eager to create work outside, using and working with nature. It feels like a natural progression for my practice and something I hope to do more of in the future. The installation is part of the Raveningham Sculpture Trail in Norfolk and I am so grateful that this event still happened despite Covid-19.
‘This site-specific installation explores the connections between people and place and has grown in direct response to the natural environment. For months we have been confined inside and this piece starts to question how we might re-consider new spaces that we encounter as life slowly shifts towards a new normal. The stark structures of the lines created contrast to and interact with the natural forms in this woodland. As you move around the space, different shapes are created and each viewpoint is slightly different.’
The Trail runs all through August and tickets can booked on the Raveningham Sculpture Trail website – https://raveninghamsculpturetrail.com/
