Second and third year BA Graphic Communication students enjoyed a visit to Zenith Media‘s print factory in Pontypool today (Tuesday 13th June 2017).
The trip afforded a fascinating insight into the world of commercial print. On one site, Zenith have Lithography and digital printing as well as print finishing techniques including perfect binding, saddle stitching, laminating, embossing spot varnishing and foil blocking.
Many thanks to Zenith Sales Director, Alun Philips, who led the visit, providing guidance and insight on the printing processes encountered during the tour.
