Artist Designer: Maker staff member Philippa Lawrence joins a panel for an Artist Talk on July 12th as part of her contribution to an exhibition entitled ‘whispering Colour’ currently being held at the the Bo.Lee gallery in Peckham.
Philippa’s diverse practice embraces land and environmental art, the use of textiles in a fine art context, and the relationship between art, craft and design. Her work pivots on material exploration, drawing out a material’s ability to carry metaphor and speak of human experience.
